About Human Mimicry…

By simulating a complex organism and condensing it down to key visuals such as skin, eyes, hair, and most important – the suggestion of breathing and movement, this work represents the beginning steps to a facsimile of life. Such pieces are the foundation for the fundamentals of learning through mimicry. As this work delves into the uncanny valley, it places the viewer in an uncomfortable confrontation with the tensions surrounding future societal development in light of technological improvements.
